Using the Choirs ACT Cultural Events Calendar
(Use Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later)
The Calendar is organised into six categories of events; Choral, Orchestral, Ensemble, Theatre, Dance and Other.  When the Calendar is first loaded, all categories are represented in the event list, which is on the left hand side of the page.  This is indicated by the backlighting of all category names.  The event list always begins at the present month and year.  The hotspots "Previous Month" and "Next Month" enable scrolling forwards or backwards through the months.  A particular category is selected by placing the mouse pointer over the category name and clicking.  When a category is selected only that category is backlit and only events within that category are listed.  Each entry in the event list is headed by a link.  Clicking that link will bring fuller details about the event into display on this side of the page.
To have your event listed in the Calendar, just click "Add Event" and complete the details on the form.  There is no charge.  The Calendar administrator will assess the event and decide whether the event should appear or not.  The administrator reserves the right not to list an event or to remove a listed event from the Calendar.  The administrator also reserves the right to modify the copy submitted so that the most important information can be accommodated in the space available.
